Wandering the West Pike with Graham Coreil-Allen

All visionaries are invited to attend the Wandering the West Pike walking tour with artist Graham Coreil-Allen to explore and re-imagine the public spaces of Columbia Pike’s West End.


  • Experience the history, urban design, and current uses of Columbia Pike.
  • Learn about transportation improvements currently under construction.
  • Share about your own natural, secret and informal public spaces.
  • Imagine the future public art projects taking place along the Pike, including  “The Pike” by Donald Lipski.

This “alternative” walking tour will begin at the Arlington Mill Farmers Market.

People of all ages and abilities are welcome. Free and open to the public, reservations are encouraged. In the event of severe inclement weather, the walking tour will be rescheduled to Saturday, May, 25.

About Graham Coreil-Allen

Graham Coreil-Allen is a public artist working to make cities more inclusive and livable through public art, radical walking tours, and civic engagement. Since 2016 Coreil-Allen has led numerous tours of Arlington neighborhoods as an Arlington Public Art Program Artist-in-Residence.
