February Social Walk + Cozy Coffee Hour in Courthouse @ Outside of beangood! The Coffee Pub

Get curious about Arlington’s neighborhoods and what makes them unique. This month, WalkArlington is checking out Courthouse and its great coffee spots that give neighbors something to feel cozy about.

On the social walk you’ll get to know your neighbors, experience walking in Courthouse, relax and unwind, and spark your curiosity about what the neighborhood has to offer, including:

  • A walking tour of the many local coffee spots along Wilson Blvd
  • Ideas for a cozy Valentine’s Day date in the neighborhood
  • An exciting inside look at CoworkCafe

The evening will conclude with a social, warm beverages, and snacks at CoworkCafe, 2719 Wilson Blvd. Beverages and snacks will be available for purchase.

Registration for the event is required. The event is free for people of all ages and abilities.

Feel the Heritage Festival @ Charles Drew Community Center

WalkArlington and BikeArlington are excited to participate in the 2019 Feel the Heritage Festival, the 27th Annual Celebration of Arlington’s African American History and Culture.

The event will include live music, local vendors, a hall of history, kid’s activities, and food. WalkArlington and BikeArlington will share community resources for getting started and enjoying walking and biking. The programs will also have interactive information about notable achievements in African American history, past and present, related to walking and biking.
