The PAC advises the County Board and the County Manager on the implementation of the pedestrian element of the Master Transportation Plan and other matters the committee deems important to advocate for the needs of pedestrians in Arlington.

The committee is made up of volunteers who keep the County focused on making Arlington a better place to walk — from the high-rise canyons of Rosslyn, Ballston, and Crystal City to the leafy residential areas of north, south, and west Arlington.

Meetings are held every second Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. Members of the public are invited to join any meeting.

At Second Saturdays at the Mill on July 13, celebrate the best of active transportation and healthy food choices by walking or biking. You’ll receive a punch card to keep track of your biking and walking trips to the Mill’s “Second Saturdays” and enter a season-long raffle. Plus on July 13, enjoy Neighborhood BINGO, a backwards bike, and other kid-friendly biking and walking activities.

All Summer Long

All summer long, Second Saturdays at the Mill wants to reward you for taking active, healthy trips. Each second Saturday when you bike or walk, bring your card to the CPRO booth to get it punched. At the end of the season, we’ll distribute giveaways to thank you for making healthy transportation choices. The more weeks that you bike or walk, the more chances you’ll have to get rewards.
