What: As part of the Reed School/Westover Branch Library Community Celebration on Halloween Day, WALKArlington will lead a Walkabout of the wickedly walkable Westover neighborhood!  The approximately 2-mile Walkabout route takes walkers from the new Reed School/Westover Branch Library through Westover's retail core, residential areas and parkland, past community gathering places and historic districts, and back again. Speakers will share anecdotes (and maybe some ghost stories) about the neighborhood's unique history, community resources, and walkable lifestyle at ten stops along the way. For more information, check out this skeletal description of the Walkabout, the Reed School-Westover Branch Library Community Celebration schedule of events for the day, and the Westover Branch Library web page. Costumes optional!
