Pike Hike II Walkabout: Columbia Pike Town Center West

When: 9:30 - 11:00 a.m., RAIN OR SHINE
Where:  Walkabout begins at Arlington Career Center/Columbia Pike Library, 816 South Walter Reed Dr., Arlington
Who:  Open to the public, all ages welcomed.
Fee:  FREE of charge, registration not required.

What: Pike Hike II, WalkArlington’s Walkabout of Columbia Pike Town Center West, is a guided walking tour led by County Board Chairman Christopher Zimmerman with support from the Columbia Pike Revitalization Organization and the Arlington County Fair.  The Walkabout route highlights international culinary hot spots, one-of-a-kind shops, landscaped apartments, rolling parkland, quaint bungalows, historic churches, a campus of County facilities and resources, and the popular Sunday Columbia Pike Farmers Market. 

After hiking the Pike, grab a snack at the Farmers Market and catch a shuttle from the Career Center to Thomas Jefferson Community Center for rides, games, and fun at the final day of the 2011 Arlington County Fair!
