Birding Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge

Where:  Vans leave from Lubber Run Recreation Center, 300 N. Park Drive, Arlington

What:  This 27,000 acre refuge of tidal marsh and woodland is home to Bald Eagles, migrating waterfowl and the endangered Delmarva fox squirrel. A 1-3 mile loop walk possible. Participants should dress for the weather and bring binoculars, a bag lunch and a drink and snacks for the day. For more information call 703-228-3403.
