Yorktown Walkabout

When: 3:00 - 5:00 p.m., RAIN OR SHINE
Where:  Walkabout begins at Greenbrier Park, 5201 28th Street North, Arlington; meet near stadium/track ticket booth
Who:  Open to the public, all ages welcomed.
Fee:  Free of charge, registration not required.

What: Celebrate the arrival of fall, World Car-Free Day, and back to school season on foot with a WalkArlington Walkabout of Arlington’s Yorktown neighborhood, led by Arlington County Board Chairman Jay Fisette with support from WalkArlington and the Yorktown Civic Association.  The Yorktown Walkabout, the latest addition to WalkArlington’s series of neighborhood walks, takes walkers from pre-school (Rock Spring Pre-School) to high school (Yorktown) to college (Marymount University) and back again, stopping at hidden parks, historic landmarks, and busy shopping centers along the way.
