WalkArlington Walkers Wednesday Evening Walk

Next Event: December 1, 2010 (Every week on Wednesday)

When: 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Where: Clarendon Metro station, at the corner of Wilson Boulevard and North Highland Street in Arlington. Meet near the tall pine tree behind (west of) the Clarendon Metro escalator.
Who: All ages: anyone who wants to stretch their legs, meet new people, and see Arlington from the ground up.
Fee:  Free of charge

What: There is a scheduled WALKArlington Walkers Meetup Group walk every Wednesday evening in Clarendon. Walks usually last an hour and cover residential and commercial neighborhoods in and around Clarendon.  There is a year-round Farmers' Market at the Clarendon Metro from 4-7 p.m., so walkers can grab a snack before the walk. Participation varies widely from week to week.

To join the WALKArlington Walkers Meetup Group, visit www.meetup.com and type "WALKArlington" in the box under "Find A Meetup Group."  Click on the WALKArlington Meetup name link to join. The Meetup is organized by WALKArlington, but WALKArlington staff do not regularly take part in the walks. The WALKArlington Walkers Meetup Group also has regularly scheduled  walks in Virginia Square at 10 a.m. on Sundays.
