WALK TAKEAWAY:

On this exclusive five-course walking food tour in Clarendon, learn how the group left deliciously satisfied, full of new friends and armed with unique walking path to explore!

Back by popular demand, the Signature Walking Food Tour series returned to Arlington last month! Designed to encourage exploring by foot, we teamed up with our friends at Discover Arlington for an afternoon of wandering Clarendon in search of good eats, storytelling and hidden neighborhood gems.

New friends, a few familiar faces from our Rosslyn Food Tour and healthy appetites joined us on the stroll past iconic landmarks, where we were able to highlight Arlington’s Smart Growth planning vision, fun facts, historic buildings and unique public spaces—all along an easy, walkable route.

What was on the menu? Indulging in an exclusive five-course tasting experience! Curated to showcase our awesome restaurant partners, Heritage Brewpub & Roastery, Oz Restaurant & Bar, Don Tito, BABA Bar and Nicecream Factory, participants sampled signature bites and drinks while learning more about the restaurants from their owners. From flavorful beer nuts and savory dishes to tasty Balkan bites and sweet treats, we heard any “BABA” (“Grandmother” in Serbian) would certainly approve of the selections.

Each attendee also received a swag bag full of fun goodies from the WalkArlington and local Clarendon businesses including retail, fitness, apartment communities and more!
