“Making History to DC” Women’s History Walk @ Canal Center
Mar 23 @ 10:00 am – 3:00 pm

Join WalkArlington and Alexandria Celebrates Women for a seven-mile women’s history walk that will start in Alexandria’s Old Town and end in D.C.

We’ll travel along the beautiful Mount Vernon Trail while enjoying women’s history briefings by experts along the route. Stops include Lady Bird Johnson Park, the Lincoln Memorial, and the Vietnam Women’s Memorial.

Bring a lunch and wear pink to mark the Cherry Blossom Festival.

If you’re not up for walking, you are welcome to bike the route. You can also leave at any time if seven miles feels like a bit too much for you.

This is going to be a scenic, healthy, and fun event—a fantastic learning opportunity and a way to celebrate Women’s History Month in the nation’s capital region.

We’ll start the walk in Alexandria at 99 Canal Center Plaza.
